In my 15 + years as a REALTOR©, I have become a leading listing and Re-selling agent of higher priced and luxury homes in Toronto’s Beach. Although I focus on the "New Beach" (Woodbine Park) area, my deals throughout the Beach and all of Toronto have ranged in value from under $200,000 to over $11.5 Million. For my clients I put to work a broad background in aggressive marketing and clear communication. As Sales & Marketing Manager for two of Toronto's largest cable TV companies I also launched their Real Estate advertising channels. I was Marketing Director of North America's largest motor home and houseboat rental business. Earlier I worked for 10 + years with Tap Air Portugal, becoming their Regional Manager for Midwest Canada and USA. My solid marketing and communication skills are supported by negotiating strengths learned in several years of training & working in the Law. I have also worked full or part-time in both TV and Radio broadcasting, and in regular Magazine journalism. I have just started writing a biography in my spare time. I personally designed & managed the construction of 2 of my homes (one had 7 bedrooms); and I continue my lifelong interest in antiques, home design and decorating. Articles have been published about my design work. Nowadays many clients directly benefit from my home staging skills. Born in Toronto, and bred in Britain, I returned home in the late 1970's after seventeen eventful years in Central Africa. In addition I code and place web ads directly onto many other non - Real Estate sites. My previous job was at the Library of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, where I was Manager of Electronic Publishing A Thirty Million Dollar project converted all its digital collection for Online Distribution to Library clients. I was active in helping develop and inplement the Digital Talking Book the Library now produces. Later I became their Manager of Change Management and Process Improvement. With a Science degree plus an Industrial Design certificate, my formal education supports my technical skills. Outside of Real Estate "I's the Gal that Built the Boat, and I's the Gal that Sails her" -- whenever I can. (Actually I've now built 3 boats!) I support the Annex Cat Rescue project by making thousands of catnip toys for sale. And I'm also personally active in the trap, neuter and release of local feral (wild) cats. I am an arty sort of girl and have been known to paint, make jewelry, costumes and masks, and to take countless photographs. Often my photos supplement those taken by our professional photographer of every property that we list! I'm also an avid gardener, and often "stage" the gardens of our clients.
